Submission Timings:
Monday to Friday: 0800 hours - 1500 hours
(Except holidays observed by The High Commission of South Africa in Kenya)

Passport Collection Timing:
Monday to Friday: 1200 hours - 1500 hours
(Except holidays observed by The High Commission of South Africa in Kenya)



Visa Application Process 

Applicants are requested to read the following steps carefully before submitting their application at the South Africa visa application centers

Step 1 : Applicants are required to submit their applications personally at the VFS South Africa Visa Application center in Nairobi
Step 2 : Make 1 clear photocopy of the biodata page of the passport.
Step 3 : Complete the visa application form.
Step 4 : If you are in employment, please ensure that you submit a letter from your employer in Kenya stating that you are their employee. In a case whereby you are self employed, please ensure you draft a letter and attach documents of ownership. If retired, please submit a written statement to that effect. If you are a student, please ensure that you attach a document from the Institution as well. The above are to be submitted in support of your application alongside all other documents and depending on your visa category.
Step 5 : Please ensure that you submit MOST CURRENT THREE MONTH PAYSLIP/ ORIGINAL BANK STATEMENTS, DULY STAMPED AND CERTIFIED BY YOUR BANK. The South Africa High Commission does not allow Online Bank Statements in support of your applications.
Step 6 : Pay your VFS service fee at the bank teller counter at the Visa Application Centers.
Step 7 : Along with your application form and documents go to the application centre between 08:00 to 15:00 (Monday - Friday, except the holidays observed by The High Commission of South Africa in Nairobi and Government of Republic of Kenya)
